About the FSAT Labs
The French South African Tech Labs in an incubator and accelerator program which has been officialy launched early 2017. It has been founded by Seda and Methys Group.
The FSAT Labs enhances links between France and South Africa. Indeed, the economic cooperation between these two countries is booming since a few years and Cape Town has become one of the French Tech hub since February 2016. Following this booming ecosystem, the French South African Tech Labs, as a non-profit organization, is a concrete initiative that aims at welcoming both South African and French entrepreneurs.
It will support each incubated project with an agile team that delivers customized services to streamline South African market entry, rapid expansion and operational success based on Lean Startup and Design Thinking methodologies. The objective is to transform ideas and projects into sustainable businesses having the ability to scale up internationally. Thanks to an incubation program of 6 months and an acceleration program of 24 months more, the incubated are supported in an appropriate atmosphere that unleash their innovative spirit.
About the French Tech Cape Town Hub
The French Tech Hub programs consists in a worldwide network of tech entrepreneurs, investors and executive. These French Tech communities are designed to build
bridges between major innovation hubs.
The French Tech Cape Town Hub in Cape Town has been launched in March 2016 with the strong support of Methys and other partners (French firms, French institutions, South African organizations…).
About Methys and Methy’s Lab

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) is a national South Africa agency of the Department of Small Business Development.
It is mandated to implement government’s small business strategy; design and implement a standard and common national delivery network for small enterprise development; and integrate government-funded small enterprise support agencies across all tiers of government. Seda’s mission is to develop, support and promote small enterprises throughout the country, ensuring their growth and sustainability in co–ordination and partnership with various role players, including global partners, who make international best practices available to local entrepreneurs.
